These 6-7 oz. cold-water lobster tails are the genuine article, direct from the North Atlantic. Don't settle for those cheap imports you find at the club stores. Tails are made from hard-shell lobsters and are packed with sweet meat. About the size of a tail from a 1 1/2 lb. lobster. Try on the grill with lemon butter. Don't have a grill? No worries, these tails are great steamed, boiled and baked.

Handling and Storing Tails
Slow-thaw your frozen lobster tails in the refrigerator for 12 hours before you plan to serve them. For quicker results you can run your lobsters (in the package) under cold water.

Cooking Lobster Tails
Grill Tails: Butterfly or Split Lobster tails. To Butterfly Lobster Tail cut the upper shell down the center of the back with scissors to the tail and spread the shell-halves apart so you can see the tail meat in the shell; but, leave the bottom shell intact. If using butterfly tails, insert a wooden skewer into the tail to prevent the tail from curling. Brush the lobster meat with melted butter, sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Place lobster tails shell-side down. Grill approximately 5 to 6 minutes, on a medium hot heat. Baste with butter and turn tails over. Cook approximately 3 to 4 more minutes or until the meat is opaque and no longer transparent and firm to the touch. Super easy to overcook so be careful!

Boil Tails: Fan-Cut Lobster Tail- Cut off under-shell, leaving the tail fan in place.
Fill a large pot with water. Bring the water to boil and place the lobster tails into the pot. Boil the lobster tails for about 6-7 minutes. Do not overcook!

Bake Lobster Tails: Piggyback Lobster Tail-Cut the upper shell down the center of the back with scissors leaving tail fan intact. Do not remove under-shell. Run finger between the meat and the shell to loosen from each other. Lift uncooked tail through the slit to rest on top of the shell. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet, brush each lobster tail with melted butter and bake approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Cooking thermometer should read an internal temperature of about 140 degrees. Do not overcook. Lobster shell will turn their bright red color well before the meat is thoroughly cooked inside
