Shipping
Because nearly all of our products are perishable, shipping them takes thought and careful planning. We've come up with our own fresh pack system
that pairs Styrofoam coolers with pre-chilled gel packs and dry ice. Our double box system keeps perishables cool in transit for up to 36 hours.
We take care to arrange your seafood in specialized boxes designed to keep your order in top-notch condition.

Cut-off time for orders placed over the Internet is 12:00 noon. EST, Monday through Friday.
All orders are shipped by Fed Ex front door delivery. It is important that someone is available to receive the perishable package.
Saturday delivery is available in most areas. In addition, there is a $15.00 surcharge for all Saturday deliveries. When requesting Saturday delivery to rural areas, please call in advance to check availability.
All orders to Hawaii or Alaska (where available) will be charged an additional $15.00 shipping surcharge. Sorry no Saturday deliveries.
Shipping Restrictions: There are no Sunday or Monday deliveries. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept order with a delivery address to P.O. boxes, APO, or FPO addresses at this time, nor any destination outside of the United States.
Guarantee & Returns
We've taken great pride in sharing with you the bounty of New England. All our products are guaranteed to be fresh and arrive in perfect condition. Damage due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, unattended packages or improper storage and handling voids our guarantee. LobsterAnywhere.com assumes no responsibility for orders picked up by customers after 5:30 p.m . East Coast Gourmet recommends the lobster be prepared the same day. If you must keep them an additional day, you do so at your own risk. All claims must be made on day of delivery by calling 888-4CHOWDA. No claims will be honored if not made on day of delivery. (We reserve the right to fully investigate claims that we believe to be unfounded or fraudulent.)
East Coast Gourmet guarantees your satisfaction. Because we are dealing with food, in most cases we do not accept returns, but we will replace or give full credit for any product which you are not happy with.
Substitutions
If the item of your choice is unavailable or does not meet our high standards for quality, we may need to substitute an item of equal or greater value.

We provide stringent and effective security measures on our Web site All payment information you submit in the ordering process is kept confidential and cannot be accessed by anyone outside East Coast Gourmet. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your credit card information is encrypted for safe and secure transfer to our web server. When you begin the checkout process your browser will indicate that you are entering a secured area of the website for entry of your credit card information. The most commonly used browsers all support secure sockets. You'll know that you have moved to a secure section of the site because the "location" or "url" at the top of the screen will begin with "https" rather than "http"("s" stands for "secure"). Your browser may also display a key or padlock icon.
Privacy
East Coast Gourmet offers free subsciption to our monthly newsletter, Lobster Tales. We also send e-mail updates and notices of seasonal specials. These services may be requested (or cancelled) through the customer account pages used to establish and maintain your East Coast Gourmet account. We also send printed catalogs and occasional announcements to individuals who place orders with East Coast Gourmet.
If you have received e-mail announcements or printed materials from us and do not wish to continue receiving these materials, please let us know and we will remove your name from our lists for these communications.
